Contest Entries: OTP/First Kiss

Contest entry for 's contest for OTP. This is actually my OTP. The others, I'll squee over them for a bit, but this is my first long-standing fav pairing. They're too cute!! Ed and Winry just rock all sox~! *^_^*

Contest entry for 's contest for First Kiss. Basically, Winry picks him up at the train station coming home. It wasn't cold when she left the house, so she didn't bring a jacket. She didn't really think to change out of her working clothes, either, so she's still covered in grime. When Ed gets home, he saw her shivering on the bench and suggested they go home. On the way, he plucks up the courage to talk to her about what they'd discussed before he'd left. Unsure where the conversation was headed, Winry listened as they continued to walk. When he ended up stopping, she stopped with him. He looked into her eyes and smiled softly. Before he could think about it, he murmured, "You look beautiful." Winry, covered in the day's working grime, found this difficult to belive. Until he reached up a warm hand and his thumb accidentally grazed some of the grime that had found its way to her face. At least she knew that he could see the grime. What she didn't expect was when he leaned in--almost in slow motion--and landed his lips on hers. It took her a second to register that he was trying to be romantic.
And it was working.
As Winry closed her eyes to return the kiss, she thought vaguely of the first snow that was falling over Resembool. Her first kiss in the first snow. Ed had really outdone himself.
